Lunira

Privacy Policy

Last updated 19 September 2026

Everything you enter into Lunira stays on your device: your name, your income and spending, your budgets, your goals, and your answers to the introduction questions. None of it is ever uploaded. Lunira has no account and no backend of its own.

To sell subscriptions and to show its introduction and subscription screens, Lunira uses one service provider, Adapty. This policy explains what stays on your device, exactly what Adapty receives, and the part Apple plays.

What Lunira stores, and where

When you use Lunira you may enter a first name, your income, your expenses and their categories, monthly budgets, and savings goals. The answers you give in the introduction (for example, how you get around, or what you spend on regularly) are used to set up your starting categories. All of it is written to your iPhone’s local app storage.

That data is never uploaded. It is not sent to us, to Adapty, to any other third party, or to any cloud service. We have no ability to read it, recover it, or restore it. Two consequences are worth knowing:

What leaves your device: Adapty

Lunira uses Adapty (Adapty Tech Inc.) to process subscriptions. Adapty verifies purchases with Apple and keeps track of whether your subscription is active. It also delivers the introduction and subscription screens, and tells us in aggregate how many people complete the introduction and how many subscribe. Adapty acts as our service provider (a data processor) and processes this information on our behalf.

Adapty’s handling of this information is described in its End-Users Privacy Policy. Adapty may store it on servers outside your country, including in the United States.

What we do not do

Lunira contains no advertising SDK and no crash reporter. Apart from Adapty, it uses no analytics service. We do not use any of the information above for advertising. We do not sell it, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, Lunira schedules them locally on your device. There is no push server and no device token is registered anywhere, so we cannot send you anything and cannot tell whether you opened a reminder. You can turn notifications off at any time in iOS Settings.

Subscriptions and payments

Lunira’s paid plans are sold through the App Store. Apple handles the entire transaction: your payment method and billing address go to Apple. We never see or store your payment details. Apple shares the record of the purchase itself (the plan, price, and dates) with Adapty so that your subscription can be verified, as described above.

Apple’s handling of that information is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

How long information is kept

Your budget data exists only on your device, for as long as you keep it there. Adapty keeps subscription and purchase information for as long as it is needed to provide the subscription, and afterwards as far as the law or accounting requires.

Children

Lunira is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has used Lunira and you have a concern, please write to us.

Your rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export, and delete the personal data a company holds about you.

Changes to this policy

If what Lunira collects ever changes (for example, if optional cloud backup is added), this policy will be updated before that change ships, and the date at the top will change. Material changes will be announced in the app.
